The gallery is proud to present a selection of prints and works on paper by the celebrated New York painter. Over the last four years, the artist, who turns ninety in November, has completed four new lithographs. This will be the first time the gallery will exhibit all four together.
Each print depicts a facet of the artist’s work for which she is best known, namely views from her New York and from her Water Mill studios with still life objects in the foreground. One print luxuriates in the intense yellow of a field of goldenrod in late summer. Another celebrates the rich blue night sky and twinkling lights of Manhattan.
In addition, there will be a group of related works on paper, both oils and pastels. They range from the 1980s to 2013.
